Terms of Service
Last updated: 29 July 2026
Medical emergency
Radly is not an emergency service. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 000 (Triple Zero) immediately or go to your nearest hospital emergency department. Do not use Radly to seek urgent or emergency medical care.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using radly.com.au ("Radly", "the platform", "the website"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use Radly.
Radly is operated by Radly Pty Ltd (ABN 93 698 488 407) ("we", "us", "our"). We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the platform. Changes take effect when posted on this page. Your continued use of Radly after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
2. About Radly
Radly is an online platform that helps patients find, compare, and submit booking enquiries to medical imaging clinics across Australia. We also provide tools for imaging clinics and corporate imaging groups to manage their listings, and for referring practitioners to submit digital referrals.
Radly is a neutral technology intermediary. We do not provide medical services, diagnose conditions, verify clinical decisions, guarantee clinic availability or pricing accuracy, or perform imaging scans. All medical decisions and clinical responsibility rest with the treating clinic and/or referring practitioner.
Patients must not rely on Radly for medical urgency, diagnosis, or treatment decisions. Radly does not triage, prioritise, or assess the clinical urgency of any booking request. If your referring doctor has indicated urgency, you should contact the imaging clinic directly by phone to arrange your appointment.
3. User accounts
To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information during registration
- Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
- Verify your identity via email or phone when prompted
- Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
- Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or if we reasonably believe your account is being misused.
4. Booking requests - not confirmed appointments
Radly allows patients to submit booking requests to imaging clinics. By submitting a booking request, you understand and agree that:
- A booking request is NOT a confirmed appointment. It is a request only. Your appointment is not confirmed until the imaging clinic contacts you directly (via phone, email, or through Radly) to confirm the date, time, and availability.
- Do not attend the clinic unless you have received explicit confirmation from the clinic that your appointment has been scheduled.
- The clinic may decline your request, suggest an alternative date or time, or require additional information before confirming.
- Radly does not guarantee appointment availability, pricing, bulk-billing status, or wait times.
- Pricing, Medicare rebates, and out-of-pocket costs shown on Radly are indicative only and may change. The clinic is solely responsible for providing accurate pricing at the time of your appointment.
- Radly is not responsible for the quality of care, pricing, or services provided by any clinic.
4A. Guest bookings
Radly allows patients to submit booking requests as a guest without creating a Radly account. By submitting a guest booking, you understand and agree that:
- All booking request terms in Section 4 above apply equally to guest bookings. A guest booking request is not a confirmed appointment.
- The clinic will organise your appointment from here. After submitting your request, the imaging clinic will review it and contact you directly by phone or email to confirm your appointment details, including date, time, preparation, and any other requirements.
- Confirmation notifications depend on the clinic. You will only receive an automated confirmation email or SMS from Radly if the clinic uses the Radly clinic dashboard to confirm your booking. Not all clinics use the Radly dashboard - some may contact you directly via phone or their own email systems. In either case, the clinic is responsible for confirming your appointment.
- No Radly account or dashboard access. As a guest, you will not have access to a Radly patient dashboard. You cannot track your booking status, view appointment history, or receive in-app notifications. Your confirmation email is your only receipt.
- You may create a Radly account at any time after submitting a guest booking. If you sign up using the same email address or mobile number you booked with (your mobile number is verified by SMS at signup), your previous guest bookings will automatically be linked to your account so you can track them online.
- Guest bookings are subject to the same rate limits and spam protections as all other bookings.
5. Patient consent and data sharing
When you submit a booking request through Radly, you explicitly consent to the following:
- Sharing your personal details - your name, email address, phone number, preferred date and time, scan type, and any notes you provide - with the imaging clinic you have selected.
- Sharing your referral document - if you upload a referral letter (image or PDF), it will be transmitted directly to the clinic as an email attachment. The referral may contain sensitive health information including your name, date of birth, referring doctor details, Medicare number, and clinical notes.
- Clinic is a third party. The imaging clinic is an independent third party, not an employee, agent, or contractor of Radly. Once your information is shared with the clinic, the clinic is independently responsible for how it stores, uses, and protects your data under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and applicable health records legislation.
- Email and SMS communications. By providing your phone number and email, you consent to receiving booking confirmations, appointment reminders, and follow-up communications from Radly and the selected clinic via email and SMS.
You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us at support@radly.com.au. However, withdrawal of consent does not affect information already shared with a clinic.
6. Referral documents
Patients may upload images or PDF copies of their physical referral letters during the booking process. If you submit a booking request without attaching a referral, Radly may send you a secure, single-use upload link by SMS and email so you can add your referral afterwards; the link is unique to your booking, expires after 7 days, and is deactivated once a referral has been received. By uploading a referral document, you acknowledge and agree that:
- You are the patient named on the referral, or are legally authorised to act on their behalf (e.g. parent or legal guardian)
- The uploaded document may contain sensitive health information protected by law
- The referral will be attached directly to the booking notification email sent to the imaging clinic. This means the clinic receives the document as an email attachment, not via a download link, allowing them to process your referral immediately.
- Radly stores the document securely using encrypted cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud Platform) with access restricted to your account and the selected clinic
- Radly does not access, review, interpret, or use the clinical content of uploaded referrals for any purpose other than facilitating your booking
- Radly retains uploaded referral documents for up to 12 months after the associated appointment date, after which they may be permanently deleted
- You may request deletion of your uploaded documents at any time by contacting support@radly.com.au
Radly acts as a secure intermediary for the transmission of referral documents between patients and imaging clinics. Once a document has been shared with a clinic, Radly has no control over how the clinic stores, uses, or disposes of that information.
7. Clinic listings
Imaging clinics can create and manage listings on Radly. By listing your clinic, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information about your practice, services, operating hours, and pricing
- Respond to patient booking requests in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain all required accreditations, registrations, and licences
- Comply with all applicable Australian healthcare regulations, including radiation safety standards
- Not misrepresent your services, qualifications, or pricing
We reserve the right to remove or modify clinic listings that contain inaccurate information, violate these terms, or receive consistent negative feedback.
8. Corporate and enterprise accounts
Radly provides corporate dashboards for imaging groups managing multiple clinic locations. Corporate account holders agree that:
- They are authorised to act on behalf of the imaging group and its listed clinics
- They are responsible for the accuracy of information across all clinics under their management
- Team members they invite will have access to clinic data, booking requests, and patient contact details for clinics within their group
- They are responsible for managing access and removing team members who should no longer have access
- Activating a clinic makes it publicly visible to patients with full search engine indexing; deactivating removes it from public view
- Central booking email addresses set at the corporate level will receive all patient booking requests for the relevant clinics
9. Clinic obligations and indemnity
By listing on Radly and receiving patient bookings or referrals through the platform, imaging clinics and corporate groups agree that they are solely responsible for:
- The quality, safety, and appropriateness of all clinical care provided
- Confirming appointments directly with patients - a booking request via Radly is not a confirmed appointment
- Appointment fulfilment, scheduling, and patient communication
- Accuracy of pricing, service descriptions, bulk-billing status, and availability
- Maintaining current RANZCR accreditation, DMS registration, and compliance with all applicable laws
- Compliance with radiation safety standards, imaging protocols, and dose reporting requirements
- Handling patient data received through Radly in compliance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and applicable state/territory health records legislation
Clinics agree to indemnify and hold harmless Radly, its directors, employees, and affiliates against any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising from:
- Clinical negligence, misdiagnosis, or failure to provide appropriate care
- Service failure, appointment cancellations, or failure to confirm bookings
- Inaccurate or misleading information provided by the clinic on the platform
- Breach of patient confidentiality or mishandling of patient data by the clinic
- Failure to comply with applicable healthcare regulations or accreditation requirements
10. Practitioner referrals
GPs and specialists can use Radly to submit digital imaging referrals. By using this feature, you:
- Confirm you are a registered medical practitioner eligible to make imaging referrals under Australian law
- Accept responsibility for the clinical accuracy and appropriateness of your referrals
- Understand that referral details are shared with the patient and the selected imaging clinic
- Acknowledge that Radly does not verify, validate, or assess the clinical appropriateness of any referral
- Acknowledge that a digital referral submitted through Radly does not replace the original signed referral where the imaging clinic requires the original document
11. Google Business data and third-party information
By claiming or registering a clinic profile on Radly, you authorise Radly to retrieve and display publicly available information from Google Maps and Google Business Profile associated with your clinic. This may include:
- Google reviews and ratings left by patients
- Business operating hours
- Business address and geographic coordinates
- Phone number and website URL
This information is used to enrich your clinic profile on Radly and provide patients with accurate, up-to-date details. You may request removal of Google-sourced data from your profile at any time by contacting us at support@radly.com.au.
Google reviews displayed on Radly are sourced from the Google Places API and are subject to Google's own terms of service. Radly does not modify, filter, or alter the content of Google reviews.
Radly is not responsible for the accuracy of third-party data. Information retrieved via Google APIs may not always be current. Clinics may request correction or removal of inaccurate third-party data at any time.
12. Free access and subscriptions
During our launch period, all clinics and practitioners have free access to Radly Pro features. When paid subscriptions are introduced, you will be notified in advance and given the option to subscribe or continue on the free tier.
The free tier includes a basic clinic listing visible in search results with patient reviews. Pro features include online bookings, referral management, analytics, and featured placement. Your clinic listing will always remain visible in search results regardless of plan.
Radly reserves the right to change pricing, features, or subscription terms with reasonable notice. We will never charge you without explicit consent.
13. Data security and breach liability
Radly implements industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:
- Encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and at rest (Google Cloud encryption)
- Authentication-gated access to all uploaded documents and personal information
- Rate limiting and spam protection on all booking submissions, including guest bookings
- File type and size validation on all uploads
- User-scoped storage paths ensuring only the uploading patient and authorised clinic can access referral files
- Role-based access controls separating patient, clinic, practitioner, corporate, and admin data
Despite these measures, no system is completely immune to security incidents. To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Radly is not liable for unauthorised access to your data resulting from vulnerabilities in third-party infrastructure that are outside our reasonable control
- Radly is not liable for data breaches or misuse that occur after your information has been shared with an imaging clinic or other third party at your direction
- Radly is not liable for interception of data in transit where the interception occurs outside our encrypted communication channels
In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information held by Radly, we will comply with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme under the Privacy Act 1988, including notifying affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) as required.
14. Third-party services and data processing
Radly relies on the following third-party service providers to operate the platform:
- Google Cloud Platform / Firebase: Authentication, database (Firestore), and file storage (Firebase Storage). Data may be stored in Australia and the United States. Subject to Google Cloud Terms of Service.
- Vercel: Website hosting and serverless functions. Subject to Vercel Terms of Service.
- Resend: Transactional email delivery including booking notifications and referral attachments. Subject to Resend Terms of Service.
- Google Maps / Places API: Clinic location data and reviews. Subject to Google Maps Terms.
These providers process data on our behalf under their respective terms and privacy policies. Radly is not responsible for the acts or omissions of these third-party providers. By using Radly, you consent to the processing of your data by these providers as described in our Privacy Policy.
15. Clinic data handling obligations
By receiving patient booking requests, referral documents, or personal information through Radly, imaging clinics agree that they are independently responsible for:
- Handling all patient data in compliance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and applicable state/territory health records legislation (including the Health Records Act 2001 (Vic))
- Implementing appropriate security measures to protect patient information received through Radly
- Not sharing patient information received through Radly with unauthorised third parties
- Securely storing referral documents received as email attachments
- Deleting or securely disposing of patient information when it is no longer required
- Notifying Radly and affected individuals in the event of a data breach involving information received through the platform
Clinics agree to indemnify and hold harmless Radly against any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the clinic's mishandling, unauthorised disclosure, or breach of patient data received through the platform.
16. Reviews and content
Users may submit reviews and ratings of imaging clinics. By submitting a review, you agree that:
- Your review reflects your genuine experience with the clinic
- You will not submit false, misleading, defamatory, or offensive content
- You will not submit reviews in exchange for payment or other incentives
- We may remove reviews that violate these terms or our review guidelines
- Clinics cannot pay to remove or alter genuine patient reviews
17. Medical disclaimer
The content on Radly is for general informational purposes only. It is not intended as medical advice and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Our imaging guides, cost information, scan preparation guides, and other educational content are provided for general information only. Medical imaging requirements, costs, preparation, and procedures can vary between clinics and patients. Always consult your referring doctor for advice specific to your condition.
Radly does not endorse any particular clinic, practitioner, or treatment. Listing on Radly does not constitute a medical recommendation. Search results and clinic ordering are not based on clinical quality.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 000 immediately. Do not use Radly to seek urgent medical attention.
17A. Radly AI Referral Analysis
Radly offers an optional AI-powered feature ("Radly AI") that allows you to upload a photo of your doctor's referral for automated interpretation. By using this feature, you agree to the following:
- Not medical advice: Radly AI provides an automated interpretation of your referral to help you find relevant imaging clinics. It is not a medical diagnosis, clinical recommendation, or substitute for your doctor's advice.
- Accuracy not guaranteed: The AI may not always correctly interpret your referral. If the AI cannot confidently read your referral, or if the uploaded image does not appear to be a medical referral, you will be notified. Your imaging clinic will verify your referral at your appointment and confirm the correct scan to be performed. Radly is not liable for any errors in the AI interpretation.
- Your choice: Radly does not make medical decisions for you. The choice of imaging clinic and scan type is always yours. Radly AI is a convenience tool to help you search - it does not direct, recommend, or prescribe any particular clinic or scan.
- Data minimisation: Radly does not extract or store patient-identifying information (such as your name, date of birth, or Medicare number) from the AI analysis of your referral. Only the scan type, imaging modality, body region, and clinical summary are returned and displayed to you.
- Data processing: When you use Radly AI, your referral image (including any personal details visible on it) is sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) and processed on servers located in the United States. The image is not permanently stored by Radly after analysis. OpenAI may retain API inputs for up to 30 days for safety and abuse monitoring purposes, after which they are deleted. OpenAI does not use API inputs to train their models. See our Privacy Policy (section 5A) for full details.
- Active consent: Before your referral image is sent to our AI provider, you will be asked to actively confirm your consent via a checkbox. You may choose not to proceed at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect processing that has already occurred.
18. Service availability
Radly is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the platform. We may suspend or restrict access to the platform for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.
Radly is not liable for any loss, damage, or inconvenience arising from the platform being temporarily unavailable, including missed booking requests or delayed communications. Patients should always have a direct means of contacting their imaging clinic.
19. Intellectual property
All content on Radly - including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software - is the property of Radly or its content suppliers and is protected by Australian and international copyright and intellectual property laws.
Clinic logos and brand assets displayed on the platform remain the intellectual property of their respective owners and are displayed with permission.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on Radly without our prior written consent.
20. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law (including the Australian Consumer Law), Radly and its directors, employees, and affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to:
- Missed, delayed, or unconfirmed appointments
- Clinical outcomes, misdiagnosis, or inadequate care provided by any imaging clinic
- Inaccurate pricing, availability, or service information displayed on the platform
- Loss of data or unauthorised access to your information after it has been shared with a clinic
- Actions or omissions of any third-party service provider
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any consumer guarantees or rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (Competition and Consumer Act 2010).
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to these terms or your use of Radly is limited to the amount you have paid to us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim, or AUD $100, whichever is greater.
21. Termination
You may close your account at any time by contacting us at support@radly.com.au. We will delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy data retention schedule.
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including indemnity, limitation of liability, and governing law) will continue in effect.
22. Dispute resolution
If you have a dispute with Radly, we encourage you to contact us first at support@radly.com.au so we can attempt to resolve it informally.
If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, either party may refer the matter to mediation. If mediation is unsuccessful, the dispute will be resolved by the courts of Victoria, Australia, whose jurisdiction you agree to submit to.
23. Governing law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria for any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Radly.
